Registered Nurse - Afternoon Shift

Our RNs and LPNs provide specialized care to our residents in a comfortable and
peaceful environment that promotes their health and wellness. This position is
responsible for performing the primary functions of nursing assessments, planning,
implementing, and evaluating the care of all residents. Additionally, is responsible for
meeting the established standards of Nursing Practice and resident care, being
knowledgeable of the Resident Bill of Rights, and supervising Certified Nursing
Assistants (CNA).

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Provide care to residents by performing a variety of treatments, including
cleansing and/or irrigating wounds and incisions, irrigations, IV therapy and
administering tube feedings, chest tubs and peritoneal dialysis.
2. Administer medications to residents according to the Nurse Practice Act, Nursing
Department Policies, and standards and procedures and as prescribed by the
physician; notify appropriate clinical and/or nursing personnel of medication
3. Assess resident conditions to implement intervention and develop Care Plans.
4. Observe and evaluate resident symptoms, progress, and reactions to treatments
and medications and take corrective action as necessary.
5. Accurately record resident observations in clinical records and follow through on
Care Plans.
6. Admit, transfer, and discharge residents.


1. Current license to practice as an RN/LPN in Michigan; current CPR certification.
2. Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing with an Associate's or
Bachelor's Degree, or higher.
3. Knowledgeable of nursing theories and practices as well as overall nursing skills
as normally acquired through the completion of an accredited program of
licensed nursing.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
